Building PartiuRolê from zero to scale

PartiuRolê is a full digital ticket marketplace I built from scratch and launched to production in just 6 months. More than a single app, it is a complete commerce ecosystem for live events, designed to connect buyers and producers through a reliable, high-performance, and scalable product experience.

From day one, the objective was ambitious: deliver a real business-ready platform, not a prototype. That meant building fast without sacrificing architecture quality, developer velocity, or long-term scalability. The stack was chosen to maximize performance and productivity: Bun and Elysia on the backend, Next.js for web experiences, and React Native for mobile.

A marketplace built as a four-platform product

One of the most strategic decisions was to architect PartiuRolê as four dedicated platforms, each optimized for a distinct user journey:

  • Buyer Web App: discovery, checkout, and ticket management.
  • Producer Web App: event creation, pricing, ticket batches, and sales operations.
  • Buyer Mobile App: a fast, on-the-go purchase experience with ticket access in seconds.
  • Producer Mobile App: mobile-first operational control for event teams and organizers.

Instead of forcing all roles into a single interface, each platform was intentionally designed for clarity, speed, and conversion. This separation dramatically improved usability while reducing friction in critical flows like event publishing, purchase completion, and post-sale operations.

Engineering choices that accelerated delivery

Choosing Bun + Elysia gave us a lean and modern backend foundation with excellent runtime performance and a developer experience focused on velocity. On the frontend, Next.js enabled robust SEO-friendly pages and business-critical web flows, while React Native delivered native-feeling mobile apps with strong code reuse potential and predictable iteration speed.

This architecture made it possible to:

  • move quickly across multiple products without losing consistency;
  • establish reusable domain patterns for authentication, payments, and ticket lifecycle;
  • keep development modular, so each platform could evolve independently;
  • support growth with clear service boundaries and cloud-native deployment.

AI as a force multiplier, not a shortcut

A major differentiator in this project was how AI was used as an integrated engineering capability across the full lifecycle. It was not treated as a gimmick or a code generator in isolation. Instead, AI acted as a force multiplier for decision-making, implementation speed, and quality assurance.

We used AI to accelerate:

  • architecture exploration and technical trade-off analysis;
  • rapid prototyping of complex user flows;
  • generation and refinement of repetitive yet critical implementation patterns;
  • code review support and edge-case thinking;
  • documentation and knowledge sharing across product domains.

This AI-assisted workflow allowed us to compress the timeline from idea to production without compromising technical standards. The result was a practical blend of craftsmanship and velocity: faster cycles, better consistency, and higher confidence during releases.

Shipping in 6 months with production-grade standards

Going from zero to production in half a year required tight execution across engineering, product, and infrastructure. We prioritized battle-tested foundations early: observability, deployment automation, environment management, and resilient cloud architecture. By investing in these capabilities from the beginning, we avoided common scaling bottlenecks later.

The platform was fully deployed on AWS, with an end-to-end cloud strategy designed for reliability and elasticity. Infrastructure decisions focused on predictable operations, safer rollout flows, and room for growth as user volume and event complexity increase.

Business impact through technical excellence

PartiuRolê demonstrates what happens when modern architecture, focused product thinking, and AI-accelerated execution come together under strong engineering discipline. It is a showcase of building a marketplace that is not only functional, but also operationally mature and ready to scale.

For me as a developer, this project represents more than a delivery milestone. It reflects a way of building products where speed and quality reinforce each other: clear architecture, role-specific experiences, smart automation, and a cloud-native backbone that supports real market growth.
